This policy explains what personal information allthingsKIN collects, why we collect it and how we look after it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you book or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), the treatment you want, your preferred date and time, and anything you tell us about allergies, medical conditions, medication or pregnancy. If you message us on WhatsApp, we also receive the messages and photos you send.

Why we collect it

We use your information to arrange and confirm your appointment, send deposit and banking details, treat you safely, give you aftercare instructions, keep treatment records, answer your questions and meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.

How the forms on this website work

The booking and contact forms do not send your details to a server of ours. When you submit a form, this website opens WhatsApp with your message already written. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and handles your message under its own terms and privacy policy.

Health information

Information about your health is special personal information under POPIA. We ask for it only so we can treat you safely, and we use it only for that purpose and to keep your treatment record.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed to treat you or run the business, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide treatment, keep records and meet legal requirements, and then we delete or destroy it. We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

This website

This website has no accounts and does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts and images are loaded from third party servers, including Google Fonts and our image host, so those providers can see your IP address and device details when a page loads.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can withdraw your consent or object to how we use your information at any time. Email info@allthingskin.co.za or message us on WhatsApp. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
